Organic Buchu Rooibos Tea 40g, tea bags
Buchu tea with Rooibos?
Skimmelberg Organic Buchu Tea with Rooibos is a quality tea with many positive benefits.
Buchu, Agothosma betulina, like Rooibos, is a species native to the Western Cape of South Africa.
In the taste of Buchu tea you will find the aromas of mint, black currant and rosemary, among others.
Combined with our premium Rooibos tea, the respective flavors of the Buchu aromas are highlighted.
The Buchu contains a high percentage of natural oils, which are used in aromatherapy due to their beneficial effect on the soul.
The essential plant oil is obtained through water distillation and is known as cassis aroma. It is high in monoterpenes and flavonoids.
Buchu grows in the same area as Rooibos, but only in a few places. The small harvest quantities and the sharp increase in demand for Buchu tea in recent years have led to sharp price increases.
Skimmelberg Organic Buchu Tea is a quality tea with many naturally occurring benefits that are revitalizing and aromatic for the body and mind.

HOT INFUSED TEA:
Pour a tea bag with about 250 ml of 90°C hot water in a cup or teapot and let it steep for at least 4-10 minutes, depending on your taste.
The longer the tea steeps, the more Buchu oil is released.
You can also brew the Buchu several times.
Enjoy with a little milk, honey/sugar or a slice of lemon. The best drinking temperature is around 60°C.
Also a pleasure to drink cold!
Buchu with Rooibos, all in one!
The plant has been used by the Khoikois of South Africa for a very long time. Among other things, it is said to help against infections of the urinary tract and against prostate and kidney problems. It was introduced to Europe in 1821, where it was cultivated as an ornamental plant in England. However, it did not set any seeds and was very difficult to propagate from cuttings. So she disappeared from the gardens again.
